Aurora Studio Opens Global Publishing and Funding Discussions for Revenant of Tsushima
Aurora Studio is currently welcoming discussions with global publishers, investors, platform partners, and strategic production partners for our upcoming title, Revenant of Tsushima.
Revenant of Tsushima is a first-person Japanese folk-horror game set along the historic Tōkaidō during the Edo period. Players awaken as Tsushima Mewa, a forbidden shrine maiden sealed away for centuries, and journey through haunted roads shaped by Japanese folklore, spiritual rituals, and psychological tension.
The project is designed around atmospheric exploration, spirit-capturing mechanics, Ether Sight, ritual-based interactions, and narrative-driven environmental storytelling. Rather than relying on conventional combat-focused progression, the game aims to serve players seeking cultural immersion, emotional tension, and a distinctive supernatural journey.
Aurora Studio has previously delivered the commercial Steam release OMSI 2 Add-on Project Numazu, published by German publisher Aerosoft. The project received exposure through Japanese and Asian media, regional tourism channels, Tokyo Game Show, and the SIGGRAPH Asia Game Program.
Building on this experience, the studio is now exploring several forms of international collaboration for Revenant of Tsushima, including:
Global or regional publishing partnerships
Project funding and milestone-based investment
Console development and platform partnerships
Marketing, localization, and distribution support
Co-development and production partnerships
Merchandise, licensing, and cultural collaborations
The project is currently being developed primarily for PC, with console versions to be considered based on production resources and future partnerships.
Aurora Studio will be conducting business and regional partnership discussions in Japan during July 2026, including meetings connected to the Tōkaidō region and local tourism stakeholders. Publishers, investors, platform representatives, and industry partners interested in arranging a meeting are welcome to contact us.
