Aurora Studio’s original September 2025 announcement described OMSI 2: Project Numazu as featured at Tokyo Game Show 2025 in the German Pavilion with publisher Aerosoft. The presentation introduced its recreation of Numazu’s streets and Japanese bus routes to an international games audience.
Tokyo Game Show 2025 ran from 25 to 28 September at Makuhari Messe. Project Numazu was in development at the time and later launched on Steam in March 2026.
