HONG KONG, 6 October 2026 — Aurora Studio is expanding its activities with Aurora Publishing, a selective indie game publishing and co-marketing initiative built around a simple principle: Indie Games, Beyond Borders. The Hong Kong-based team is now accepting initial pitches from developers seeking to reach audiences across Asia and international markets.
Our ambition is to connect distinctive independent games with the players most likely to appreciate them. That can mean helping an Asian creator prepare for a worldwide release or supporting a developer overseas in exploring Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and other regional audiences. Each opportunity will be assessed on its own product, audience, readiness, budget and commercial fit.
From development experience to publishing perspective
The initiative builds on our work on OMSI 2 Add-on: Project Numazu, released commercially on Steam in March 2026 with Aerosoft as publisher and collaboration from Negi-Kyu Workshop. Aurora Studio contributed to development and regional project promotion, including Japanese and Taiwanese press outreach and creator campaign coordination. Coverage and public activity included 4Gamer, Bahamut GNN, Numazu City tourism and a marked PR stream featuring hololive DEV_IS / ReGLOSS talent Juufuutei Raden. These past activities demonstrate experience with creators and cross-market communications; they do not represent an ongoing agency endorsement or guaranteed talent access.
Project Numazu also appeared with Aerosoft at Tokyo Game Show 2025's German Pavilion and in the SIGGRAPH Asia 2025 Games Start-Ups Gallery. Working across production, launch preparation and regional audiences helped shape the practical, developer-facing approach behind Aurora Publishing.
What Aurora Publishing can explore
Depending on project fit and a mutually approved scope, our work may cover storefront positioning and launch preparation, localization and localization QA, functional and release-readiness QA coordination, international PR and VTuber / creator campaign planning, regional go-to-market research, platform expansion feasibility, and licensing or merchandise opportunities evaluated with the rights holder.
We are open to bounded regional promotion, specific project services and broader publishing discussions. Rather than applying one universal package, we aim to define responsibilities, realistic budgets, measurable deliverables, reporting and the commercial model before committing resources. Developers retain ownership and creative control of their IP unless a separate, specific agreement states otherwise.
Open to pitches
We welcome games with a recognizable creative identity and a clear audience, whether they are playable prototypes, projects with a Steam or itch.io page, or titles approaching release. A strong introduction explains the core experience, current production stage, target platforms, available gameplay or demo, planned release window and the assistance being sought.
Submissions begin with an initial fit and readiness review. When both teams see a possible match, Aurora may propose a confidential discussion, build review, scoped support plan or commercial due diligence. Submitting a pitch does not guarantee investment, platform acceptance or a publishing contract. Third-party arrangements and expenditures require the appropriate approvals.
Investor and strategic partnership enquiries
Aurora Studio also welcomes enquiries from investors, strategic partners and prospective financing partners interested in the studio’s long-term development and investment plans. Alongside its original game IP and production capabilities, the studio is exploring the responsible growth of Aurora Publishing as an international-facing business supporting independent developers, regional go-to-market execution and sustainable game releases.
Interested parties may request an introductory discussion about Aurora Studio’s development roadmap, proposed funding priorities, project milestones, commercial strategy and due-diligence materials, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements. Our approach emphasizes transparent budgets, stage-gated investment, measurable milestones and respect for developer-owned IP. These are exploratory discussions: no investment opportunity, funding round, return or financing commitment is guaranteed or announced here.
